Chris Moorman is the newest European pro to receive a new sponsorship agreement in the wake of Black Friday. The Lock Poker announced Moorman 1 as well as Nicky “Cod Meharly” Evans as the newest additions to its LockPRO ELITE group. This group includes popular players like Stevie Devlin, Brett Jungblut, Matt Stout, and Eric Lynch.

Chris Moorman was actually a member of The Brunson 10 at Doyles Room before, but all his dreams came to an end when the site decided to have its US operations closed in May. The UK pro has $4 million above in its lifetime winnings, and also 16 career titles. Chris Moorman has also taken down the PokerStars just recently, $109 Sunday Rebuy for $54,188 and the $33 rebuy tournament for $7,651.

This whole thing is a very interesting and exciting time for all European players with site-less pros getting head-hunted. Just yesterday the poker agency, Check Raise Management, gave an appeal to some of the European-based poker pros to show up for some discussions with regard to sponsorship opportunities.

There are only 29 players left now in the 2011 $50,000 World Series of Poker Player’s Championship.

This coming Tuesday just over half of the 29 players will survive and will be fighting for the money, these players are already guaranteed $108,503. And for the rest of the players, they still have to wait until next year and for now they can only wait and see who wins and grab the cash.

Chip leader, Josh Arieh, will be one of the players who will play on Day 4. Arieh is a very strong and steady contender. He slowly accumulated his chips and reached his position now.

The other five players who will join Arieh in the overnight seven-figure chip club are Scott Seiver, Phil Hellmuth, Vladimir Schchemelev, George Lind, and Brian Rast.

And since David Bach has just been eliminated, there are no former champions playing in the tournament. David Bach, actually, stayed the entire day before he lost us Hansen.
