There are only 29 players left now in the 2011 $50,000 World Series of Poker Player’s Championship.
This coming Tuesday just over half of the 29 players will survive and will be fighting for the money, these players are already guaranteed $108,503. And for the rest of the players, they still have to wait until next year and for now they can only wait and see who wins and grab the cash.
Chip leader, Josh Arieh, will be one of the players who will play on Day 4. Arieh is a very strong and steady contender. He slowly accumulated his chips and reached his position now.
The other five players who will join Arieh in the overnight seven-figure chip club are Scott Seiver, Phil Hellmuth, Vladimir Schchemelev, George Lind, and Brian Rast.
And since David Bach has just been eliminated, there are no former champions playing in the tournament. David Bach, actually, stayed the entire day before he lost us Hansen.
