
The $100,000 Super High Roller event at the very famous Bellagio Hotel already commenced in the Fontana Lounge, and the registration closed in the evening with a total of 29 players who had ponied up the great buy-in.
The following are the top five chip counts after the first day, the are Justin Bonomo (1,837,000), Vivek Rajkumar (1,628,000), Erick Lindgren (1,607,000), John Morgan (1,009,000), and Randy Dorfman (968,000).
The remaining 12 spots are Sam Trickett (626,000), Gregory Brooks (611,000), Rick Salomon (582,000), Dan Shak (558,000), Daniel Negreanu (471,000), Eugene Katchalov (321,000), Gabe Kaplan (287,000), Ashton Griffin (273,000), Yevgeniy Timoshenko (258,000), Erik Seidel (237,000), Cary Katz (198,000), and Tyler Smith (142,000).
Seidel though not starting well but is still considered a very dangerous force in the whole tournament, he should not be underestimated, as well as Griffin, and Trickett, who has won about $3 million in high roller events in 2011.
